Making the right decisions

The headline is misleading but it’s what people like to see so there you have it. Why is it misleading? Because we can’t know the future so we can’t know if a decision is “right”. However, we can make GOOD decisions and good decisions are what improve our circumstances.

This is simple. The answer to this question is all you need: “based on the information I have, does this decision make sense?

If our decision makes sense based on all the information we have, it’s a good decision. If in the future it turns out to not be the *right* decision, we pivot.

People want long articles. But, I won’t give you one because it’s not required. Because everything you need to know is in the answer to that critical question above: based on the information I have, does this decision make sense?

The important thing to remember is that we can’t see the future. So it’s impossible to know if we’re making the right decision.

Delay a decision for as long as it’s responsible to do so. This allows you to gather as much information as possible before deciding. What does “responsible” mean? It means the point at which you absolutely have to make the decision.
